Eco-Friendly Tips and Tricks to Clean Your Home

People always think about buying the most effective cleaning liquid, but there is much to know about the different steps of the cleaning process. In this article, we’ll give you some cleaning tips on how to clean different surface areas effectively.

Regardless of what type of surface you’re going to clean, the first thing to consider is a cloth you’re going to use to wipe off the surface.

A cloth you’re going to use should be completely dry and lint-free. Microfiber cloths works best for this purpose. When you wash your cloth, don’t use fabric softener, otherwise, they will leave streaks.

To clean glass surfaces, such as mirrors, shower doors, or windows, you can combine using cloth and squeegee. If you want to do deep cleaning, start with a squeegee to clean glass surfaces and use your cloth to dry after each pass across the window. Work from the top of the squeegee moving down to the bottom. A dry squeegee avoids drips and keeps streaks from forming. When you clean your windows or glass surfaces with Skosh products please keep in mind: - it doesn’t involve any alcohol since it is not available in powder form. Alcohol helps the cleaning liquid to evaporate once applied to the surface which often means that you don't have to wipe off again with extra dry cloth. Please keep in mind that, when using Skosh's window cleaner, you should wipe it again with a dry cloth.

If you want to clean different areas in your bathroom, dampen a clean microfiber cloth with your cleaning solution or apply your cleaning solution directly to the countertop, faucet, or sink. Then wipe off the cleaning spray from the surface. You should aim to wipe off the moderately clean surfaces first and leave the dirties part to the end as you won’t need to clean your cloth every time and it will help you to save water and time.

When it comes to the dining table, chair, and other types of furniture, you should start by wiping down the surface with a damp microfiber cloth to remove dust and grease. If your furniture is wood, keep in mind to wipe it again with another dry cloth, otherwise, water will leave a stain in the wood.
